LEVIS: KHALID 1

A first artist collab should feel like a hang, not a campaign. The product is the excuse. The vibe is the point.

So for the XX Chino and Balloon Pants we went loud and loose. Bold color, lo-fi touches, shot right off the cyclorama with the film slate and dolly tracks left in frame on purpose. Behind-the-scenes as the aesthetic. (Those are also my arms in the thumbnail, for the record.)

Accessible, irreverent, and clearly made by people having a good time. Which is what a first date should look like.

A promotional poster featuring two men of color wearing Levi's apparel. The man on the left is sitting on a chair, wearing a white jacket, beige pants, and a white cap, with a blue background. The man on the right is smiling with his hands framing his face, wearing a white hoodie with colorful Levi's logo and a green background. The poster contains text, including the Levi's logo, the phrase 'Khalid for Levi's,' and a repeated warning that says 'Don't call them khakis' and 'Introducing.'
A man with a beard stands in profile against a plain mint green background, wearing a white jacket and light-colored pants.
